How photographers bill for a shoot

Most photographers do not invoice a single flat number, so this template breaks the shoot into the lines clients expect to see. Start with a coverage or session fee, whether that is a two-hour portrait session, an eight-hour wedding day, or a half-day commercial rate. Add separate lines for the deliverables that actually take time: number of edited high-resolution images, an online gallery, an album or print credit, and any second shooter or assistant.
